I’m updating from the CDG Airport this lovely Sunday afternoon. My flight is delayed. Great. It’s the day before Christmas Eve. I’m done with studio for the time being and will soon see my sister and Grandmother. Life is good.

I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Christmas cards didn’t make the priority list in the last hectic weeks of school – so I guess a blog post will have to do. I hope you are all doing well, and I will be thinking of all of my family and friends.

Now, to check out whats happening with this airport business…

Love,

Elizabeth

I know that I haven’t written in awhile, its hard to find the time and whatever, I guess I don’t really know why I’m keeping this blog, but I suppose it will be nice to look back on it and also to keep the family and friends updated.

Thanksgiving. or Thanksgivings. I had three different dinner for it! We went out as a class together to a french restaurant on Thursday night after class, and that was very well done and lovely, albeit not American. Afterwards we went to the local bar with two of our professors and chatted. On Friday we had a history lecture and then worked the rest of the day. That night Max, Charlie, Colleen and her friend Salome cooked some dinner (rice, cooked veggies, corn, potatoes) and had pumpkin yummy and banana bread for dessert. Colleen had leftover turkey from a dinner she had in Paris with her study aboard group. It was a really great thanksgiving and I really enjoyed spending it with my family (close friends). That weekend was work-filled with floorplans etc. but Sunday night our entire class had another potluck dinner. So this was a very filling weekend.

Next weekend was work-filled as well, and this past week was increasingly intense – except on my birthday. Yesterday we had our history lecture in Paris, walking around the Opera Garnier area (Ar. 9) and took a tour of it. Absolutely opulent. After the tour, Max and Charlie and I met Colleen by the Musee d’Orsay and walked around the area to grab some lunch. We got back to Versailles where they made me dinner and had a lovely apple pie birthday cake and Relaxed. And prepared for the evening. We hung out with some other friends before hopping a train to Paris to go to a Club. My First time. Oh la la. Great techtonic fun.

I wrote this post about a week ago – it turns out I’m a horrible blogger. Ah well. These next two weeks before the 21st are going to be packed with design work and finals. Hopefully, I’ll be able to update again before Christmas.  For all of you who don’t know, my sister and grandma will be in Austria and I’m going to fly out and meet them there to spend Christmas in Hornstein again. Rosemary and I will be flying back to Paris Jan. 2nd and maybe going to England for a little bit before break.

Love!
